When my husband put his foot down,that is the end of it If I keep badgering him or debating he tells me "Enough Sarah I have spoken, If I hear of it again there will be consequences,Am I clear young lady?" Trust me I have tested my limits on this and have suffered consequences. Last time I argued my husband made me write 100 times the passage from Ephesians 5:22-23.
"Wives submit yourselves unto your husbands,as unto the lord,for the husband is head of the wife even as Christ is head of the church." After writing this over and over I have it memorized. And in answer to your question A woman should always remain silent. Her husband makes a descion for good reason. I know I am going to get alot of thumbs down for this but this is how I feel. My marrige is a DD(domestic discipline) marrige and it works for us. Our marriage is STRONG and HAPPY. Our love life is Great! I am a lucky woman to have a husband who loves me enough to let me know when I am out of line.

Marriage is a two way street. You walk side by side.
Even though in the end there is an understanding as to who will make the final say on a type of subject this in no way means you have to be subservient in any form.
All important, and I mean life changing items are discussed at length and sometimes it takes a long time to find common ground to agree on and yet still have your own views.
Marriage is a full time job. It takes communication, understanding, compassion, etc. to have a healthy marriage.
Today however people give up to easily and ends what could have been rather than trying to stick with it and when needed get intervention where differences are concerned.

There are times when my wife wants me to be the boss, make the decision. Other times, she insists on having a say. It usually comes down to some sort of negotiation and consensus.

Are you serious? A woman has just as much say as a man in any situation. Nobody should feel they should have to get the last word. Each should have their say and then try to reach some sort of compromise.
