Sometimes when I have an erection, I can feel it beating inside. Its like its pulsating. Sometimes its so strong that my erection begins to move, too, and beats with the rhythm of it. Its shakes and goes a little up and down. When my penis is flaccid, sometimes I can feel it beating inside, too. Is this normal and why does this happen? Has this happened to anyone else?

Totally normal. It's your heartbeat. The erect penis is full of blood under high pressure. An erection occurs when more blood is flowing in than out. The arteries letting blood in are controlled by involuntary muscles. When they open to allow extra blood in, the penis gets hard. Once you reach full hardness, the blood flow equalizes. The pulsating you feel/see is the extra shot of blood that flows in each time your heart beats.

Every part of your body should have a pulse, that's the blood flow.
An erection is caused by additional blood flow to the penis; it's triggered by the parasympathetic branch of the autonomic nervous system in response to sexually arousing stimuli, or sometimes by other stimuli such as an urge to urinate while you are asleep.
The pulsing is perfectly normal.

It's totally normal....the increased ammount of blood in your penis is just following the beat of your heart just like any vein in your body that pulsates when blood goes through it with each heartbeat.

it is normal, blood is being pumped,, and if you were to pay closer attention to that area, and also your heartbeat you will notice it is beating at the same rate.. it is normal...

the fact that u can feel it when u aren't hard is weird
but otherwise it's normal
think of it like this,when blood goes into the heart it beats---so when blood rushes into the penis it pulses

The errection is caused by blood be pumped and more blood is pumped more likely is cause to do that just getting a little to excited
