I have just finished reading the book the secret, I'm not sure what to believe. For those of you that have, and believe in it... could you tell me your stories? Meaning, what did you think positively about for so long, it happened?

hi

i watched the movie the secret and for me i think it it is just about the power of thoughts. Call it what you want some call it positive thinking, others attitude they chose to call it the secret to sell more i guess.

Many other authors have written about this but in different ways so its just depends onwhich school of thought you are from. Even the Bible has it though in the secret they did not give credit to the bible even after using principles from it. Like ask and you will recieve or as a man thinketh in his heart so he is.. etc

Even prayer works in the way they say the secret works because when you pray about something for w while you are picturing that thing coming to pass and eventually God gives it to you by moving things to get the item to you.

I would say take what you can leave what you cant dont let it be forced down your throat. Being Christian I found it difficult to relate with the 'universe' in the secret so that for me is God. The seceret can confuse one because it makes you think you are the beginnig and end of all yet God is the alpha and the omega and to Him belongs all the Glory of this world not us.

I prayed and thought and sawa and pictured a car and I got it. I have actually gotten many things through prayer reinforced by visualizations, imagery and affirmations even before the secret.

the Law of Attraction is for real no matter what or how it is one of the natural laws in the universe like the law of gravity whether we like it or not.

Hope this has helped

This is utter garbage. Pseudoscience is unfortunately popular nowadays.
