When our soldiers return from the war, they are going to be mad as hell, and are going to want justice served on those who didn't support them. If I were a Liberal, I'd be honestly concerned about being deported for treason.
I'd imagine Hugo Chavez would gladly accept millions of Liberal ex-Americans into Venezuela. He'd enjoy the publicity.

Your question has so many errors in it that it's hard to answer it. First of all, Richard Nixon didn't run surveillance on "terrorists sympathizers" at all. He illegally surveilled his political enemies. Secondly, there are no so-called "liberals" who support the terrorists. Disagreeing with George W. Bush's policies does not equate with "supporting the terrorists." One of the things that makes our country great is that we're allowed to disagree openly with our government. The latest justification for our illegal invasion of Iraq is that our soldiers there are "protecting our freedoms." I know Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity would love to do away with freedom of speech, but for the time being it's still guaranteed under our Constitution. You guys will just have to work a little harder to get rid of the Bill of Rights so that only your point of view will be the "right" point of view.

Oh and what do we know about Libs and their so called support for the terrorists? You have failed to provide any proof and I am highly doubtful you can produce something from a reputable source. It would most likely be nonsensical drivel. Nothing Nixon did was right.

It is Bush who is giving al-Qaida safe haven in Pakistan--and the liberals who want to go after their leadership and bases there.
It is Bush and the neocons who want our troops to continue dying in Iraq rather than go after America's real enemies.
And it is Bush and the neocons who want to destroy the Constitution and the liberties our forfathers fought and ided to give us so they can spy on LAW-ABIDING American citizens.
So--no, Nixon was wrong. But by that standard--its the cons who need to be under surveillance. Their actions, not empty rhetoric, prove them to be disloyal trators.

What is disgusting is the comments made against the presidency. Not Bush but the office of the President. Now I understand why no laws that would better the economy or help the American people can get passed. either the Dem's thought of it and the Rep. contest it or the Lib's don't like it so they make false accusations against the party that thought of it. or the Con's don't make a profit on it.
TIME TO GROW UP PEOPLE.

They don't mean to help the terrorists, they just can't help it. They hate Bush so much they don't care about anything else. They actually believe Bush, not Congress and their representatives sent us to war and are keeping us their. They actually believe the main stream media. They really think the terrorist hate us because of Bush, and when he is gone everything will be good.
Soon they will realize that the radical Muslims hate us because they see all societies that are not Muslim and/or allow women any freedom, freedom of press, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, etc. represent the devil and must be killed. Yes, they hate Bush very much because he is the first leader to openly call for a stop to them. Of course they don't like that, but he is not the cause and the Jihad will continue long after he is gone.

Nixon spied on political opponents because he was a severely paranoid individual. I see the psychological similarities you share with him in trying to make a point. Seek help.....
It wasn't the libs that supported Saddam Hussein against Iran, Osama BinHiden against the Russians in Afghanistan or the recent deal where were giving armorments to the Saudi's to further add weaponry to an area of major conflict, it's the chickenhawk, warmongering, fearmongering, corporate, fascist, neo-con, nutjobs that have you fooled--quit being so gullable!!

I don't know your sources for such a ridiculous accusation. Nixons actions were based on self-service. He was "spying" on his competition. You are posing as a conservative, but apparently do not believe in the Constitution.
