Publicity and "media worship", trying to sell her image like "Aunt Jemima" hotcakes, or pancakes, to a gullible public killed Lady Diana. I reject conspiracy theories like Charles or Clinton "had a remote control controlling" Diana's limousine to make it crash are for me ridiculous. It was an accident caused by the same publicity. Is it not about time this old chesnut was laid to rest? In the past 10 years there have been inquiries by every imaginable source. Nothing has been proved by any of them to suggest murder in any shape or form. The driver had been drinking, was speeding, and had drugs in his system, is that not simple enough? Oh, well at least it took some attention from the JFK conspiracy for a short time.

If she had been using the seat-belt, she would have probably walked away from the crash. It was made public that her Mercedes was not like the ones marketed in the USA. Why not? Did hers not have seat-belts or airbags? Nothing further was ever mentioned about this, anywhere. Why not?

Who knows? Speculation has it she was a deep, ugly embarassment to the royal family. If she kept a low profile and went along with what it requires to be a member of the royal family she might be alive today. She thought, however, she was savvy enough in public relations to flee the royal family. Wrong move.

Queen Elizabeth II killed her out of jealousy and spite. She had always dreamt of being a beautiful camera and guy magnet ...and here was her daughter-in-law, taking on the role that she had always wanted. The queen bribed the drunk chauffeur into crashing the car in the tunnel.
