Why did she get through? OK, she can sing classical songs, but the cross-over never works. I agree with Dannii - no versatility and she won't last the distance. I think that pop songs sang in that way are dreadful.

She does have a great Classical voice, but she shouldn't sing pop songs.

I think tghere was another woman who sang the same song. That was painful and she definitely didn't get through!

the only one who managed the cross-over was Charlotte Church .The ONLY person who can sing 'I will always love you' is Dolly Parton, who wrote it. She was, however, much better than the maths teacher,Rachel(giving Wales a bad name AGAIN) and 'the rug'.

Her name is Paris, and yes, she did get put through (Simon, Sharon & Louis said yes, Dannii said no). I actually thought she sang better last year, but as X Factor is not only about talent, but also a good (sob) story too, she'll probably get past the boot camp, but I don't think she'll get as far as the live shows.

She sang it better than Debbie (on first last night), though!!!

That young girl shouldn't have chosen that song because, as you say, she "murdered" it..... but her voice has improved since last year....it's a little stronger.

I don't know how they'll teach her to sing pop though. I hope this doesn't ruin the voice she has.....

I'd certainly be happy to sit and listen to her sing classical..

I understand what you are saying but she did have a good voice and with a bit of training at boot camp she could be ok. If she hasn't got versatility then she will be knocked out further down the line.

She didn't sing it very well, but she does have a good voice, just not for pop songs.

Because she was on last year when she lied about her age and it makes a good story for TV and papers to carry something like that over to this years show.

she has a good song but i dont think that opera sorta vioce and style is x factor because its not really entertainment in my opinion. she aint going to win so i dont think putting her through was fair because they will just end up getting her hopes up and hurting her feelings =)

I know, it wasn't good. I hate it when people do that to songs.
And she looked like Regan from The Exorcist when she smiled.
