what state number is pennsylvania and virginia? for example:new york is the eleventh state...im looking for the state number of pennsylvania and virginia...thanks

Pennsylvania entered the union in 1787. Its rank is 2nd. Virginia was 10th in 1788.

Pennsylvania is the 2nd state. Viginia I think is... the 13th.
