It's NOT a virus, is simply spam, keep deleting them.
SPAM is NOT the same as a VIRUS. You are unforunately ona spammer lists, and they keep trying.
Be assured the RBS one is NOT from them, and the card emails stating "from family member" are all fake, they'd have a name you knew otherwise

You should try safe mode, re boot the computer, while it is booting, tap the f8 key repeatedly until you see a list of start up options, choose safe mode from there, once in safe mode, run the anti virus again (full system scan), viruses that are detected choose delete instead of quarantine, this time you should have more luck deleting them, once you have done that just re start the computer as you would do normally, if it automatically puts the infected files in quarantine, there should be an option to delete them, probably if you right click the files there should be the option to delete. I would also look for a setting in the anti virus that you can enable to automatically scan all incoming emails and attachments, and have the anti virus deal with them how you want. Hope this helps.

The examples you give are not viruses on your system per se - just spam. The card one is spam that contains a link that if clicked on would definitely infect your system with a virus, the RBS one is phishing spam & the Sydney Car Centre which is just a simple money transfer fraud scam - Google "Sydney Car Centre" or see my website http://www.bobbear.net/ for that one).
If you use Outlook Express you can do a lot with the mail rules based on the content, (not the source addresses which are all forged and different), to send spam straight to the 'Deleted Items' folder.
If you suspect that your system may be infected, however, there are many online scans you can do to double-check, although bear in mind that they do tend to throw up a lot of 'chaff' like adware/spyware cookies that are not necessarily particularly harmful. Also beware of lots of bogus antispyware software on the net that is promoted through popups, spam etc. Here's some genuine 'big name' online anti-virus and anti-spyware scan example links:

I get the RBS and Sydney Car Centre ones too. They're not a virus though, it's just spam. It's going into your bulk email box and not getting mixed up with your genuine emails so what's the problem? Just don't open them.

Hi I've had millions(slight exageration)of these too, I report them as spam every time and then they go to your blocked addresses.
to get rid of these bulk emails move them into your inbox then mark them as spam, you will still keep getting a few because they will use a slightly different address everytime so they get through, but if you keep reporting them as spam your filters will block them.Good Luck.
Stu the kilted scot RBS are fakes because the RBS have announced they are aware of these scam emails, and why are so many of us getting them into our bulk folders eh.

All my pc's run AVG for virus detection,
A squared, Spybot, Ad AWare for any other forms of malware, and Mail Washer for screening your emails.
I have used the commercial program Norton 2003 but found that it was somewhat slow and parts of it stopped working.
More info on security can be found at the links below.

These spammers are such a nuisance and despite adding them to blocked and spam list, because they change their addresses constantly it's practically impossible to get rid of them. Just don't make mistake of opening them, but keep deleting completely.

To protect you from, and remove viruses, try ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite (free for 15-days, then you gotta pay for it)
http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/catalog/products/sku_list.jsp
If you're still using Outlook Express as your main e-mail software, try MOZILLA THUNDERBIRD instead, as that's also got better spam protection
http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird/
Also, you can try reporting the spammers via http://www.spamcop.net
