Every way you look at Law vs Law it's as Loser vs Loser.
Law: God of division(war), in midst of L/R sides wars
Grace: God of peace: neither makes nor takes sides
Law: God on high in midst of plural L/R heavens
Grace: God in heaven: "higher than the heavens"

The CNN special highlights the people that truely feel that they are fighting for GOD, by whatever name they choose to call GOD.
As the special clearly shows, men start and fight wars, not GOD.

The God and Father of Christ will have a war in heaven, Michael and his Angels against the Devil and his angels. The Devil will be cast out. As far as these "warriors for God", he has never directed an army to attack in the New Testament. In the Old Testament there are many warriors who received their "marching orders" from God, such as Jericho. The next war that God and Christ lead will be the Battle of Armageddon.
Joshua 6:21 And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and donkey, with the edge of the sword.
