What Erin said.

Here: definitions ala Sandstorm:

Masculine: Controlling, overbearing, manipulative, self-serving, unable to perform activities of daily living independently, and entitled to use physical violence when inclined. Also, entitled to more than one wife.

Feminine: completely submissive, uneducated, houskeeper, nanny, cook, and washer of feet and kisser of his ring. Wears corsets and ribbons.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

So, like the respondant asked. Define feminine and masculine. They're very broad terms. And share many qualities. Or we can just go with the information I've gleaned.

Not really. I like men to be a bit feminine, but just a bit! Like long hair, and not overly muscular. And while I have nothing against more "masculine" women, I too prefer woman to be feminine. Even though I personally am a "masculine" woman.

In general, yes.

However, I think men that are TOO masculine are gross (has enormous bulging muscles, bad B.O., drinks beer all the time, hairy, and chauvinistic? No thanks!!)

Women that are TOO feminine are boring (never talks but just says "tee-hee," won't get her hands dirty, never has any rugged fun).

What I think is most fun is sticking to the roles but having some balance: Guys that care for women as a strong supporter (does the work, brings home the beef) but are gentle and understanding, and girls who care for men in their softer way (cooking and housework is awesome, and it's nice being pretty) but have some spunk and adventurous spirit--that's the best!!

Of course, everyone is different, that's just what I like!

Define feminine and masculine. Oftentimes, the characteristics used to describe one also describe the other. Saying that you either have to be one or the other is an awfully limited viewpoint in my opinion.

yes ♥ i love being feminine,i enjoy outdoor "tomboy" activities with my fiancee - but i always look like a lady doing it,i like to always look my best for him - and i enjoy looking "girly". as for the other - i am only attracted to very masculine men - no pretty boys or metrosexuals for me.

Masculine men are great but I've never thought about it.

no.
i dont think there's anything wrong with a boy thats a little feminine or a girl thats a bit masculine-people should be able to be the way they want to be without being made fun or something

Yeah, as dominance and submissiveness are the key plus and minus dynamics or evolutionary sociology.
