Hotel Management is a very important part of the hospitality industry, as it is called. The prospects are very good, and the remuneration certainly very attractive. To be successful in the hospitality industry, you have to like people, mixing with all kinds of persons, and have a genuine desire to help them. The rewards are not only good pay, but a very interesting outlook on life in general and the world in particular. I would definitely recommend it.
You need to join a hotel management course after your schooling.

Can you handle high stress? Can you handle being responsible for every broken thing, every fly, every raindrop on the beach?

Running a Hotel is easy, it's a maintenance job. Once you establish your methods, and determine the 'seasons' that exist for your property all you have to do is keep organized.

The customer service part is annoying. As the Manager you will be the whipping post.

If you can handle that you'll be fine.

studying Hotel administration is a great idea and it will give you the opportunity to travel the world and earn a substantial salary. I have many friends that are doing exactly that and they seem happy and live a great life style.. Go for it!

I would discuss it with an employment counselor and get their advice.
