What season and what episode did House hurt his leg ???

Hi! The episode goes in to great detail the first season. Selma Ward is his then wife and in the 3-4th show details an infarction of the artery (explosion)that destroyed the blood flow to the muscle in his thigh. They rush him into surgery. Selma is given the final chice whether to amputate of not. House does not KNOW this and told the surgical team it is NOT an option. Uponing hearing that the muscle damage is beyond repair and that pending pain would be unbarable, she agrees to the amputation.
House wakes up while they are in the process of discussing the procedure and INSISTS they will not. They have to do what he says. Selma relents and tells them to remove the muscle and sew him up. (Technically he has bare bone).
After he is in so much pain they keep him in a medical induced coma for days and when they bring him out, he is angry at his wife for making that desicion. He becomes addicted to the Vicodin because of the chronic pain, hense the drug issues last year. They later divorce and in year 3 have an affair.

I don't normally trust wikipedia but they have this posted under the synopsis of the show...
Another large portion of the plot centers around House's abuse of Vicodin and other drugs to manage pain stemming from an infarction in his quadriceps muscle some years prior which causes him to walk with a cane. The pain and drug abuse act to increase many of his more objectionable character traits while not impairing his medical acumen, which leads him to often self-medicate. Overall, House is thus presented as a classic flawed hero.
so it wasn't part of the show.
I went back and checked what imdb.com says and they just say he has half a muscle in his right leg.

His leg was already damaged when the show started.
There was an episode where he had to give a lecture and presented scenarios of three different patients with pains in their legs. (called Three Stories) He was one of them. He had an aneurysm and I think circulation was cut off and caused damage to his leg. There was a flashback to him being in hospital and the doctors and his girlfriend Stacy wanting to amputate his leg. He doesn't want this, he wants them to try to get the circulation back and save his leg.
He has heart trouble and goes into a coma and Stacy decides to remove the damaged parts without removing the leg. Muscle in the upper part of his leg was removed and so he needs his cane.

From i can remember he has car accident with his former grlfriends play by Selm Ward, but from the started the show he was limb there already in the story. not in the middle of season.

I think he was born with a disease that cause his leg to do that... They mention it one time, but i am not sure...
