I would assess the situation and whether I could overcome the other man(not a woman-too many problems there such as sexual assault etc). If I could and was angry enough at the offensive behaviour-say an assault on a pensioner, then yes I would Cassandra.

Yes. But I was told that you could only make a citizens arrest where the crime would normally result in the person being jailed.
And you need to put your hand on the offenders shoulder as you're arresting them, and technically at that point, you're committing assault!

depends where you live and what the person is like.
if you live in a rough area and the person is a raving lunatic with a gun or a knife, then no way.
if its too much for you to handle then call the police, seeing as they are trained to make arrests.
but personally, i wouldn't take the risk.

No, I don't think I'd be able to restrain someone.
Depending on the situation I might give them a good hard whack and try to injure them so they can't get away.
