Help identifying a movie – any tips?

Question

The little info I have:
Made after 2001
Probably a ‘B’ movie (no famous actors & probably not Hollywood)
Plot involved solving riddles/a game (possibly an alternate reality)
Computer technology/cyberspace
Set in the modern day, in a city
Two young people becoming obsessed and getting in over their heads etc
Final scenes in an abandoned basement lit by florescent lights
Clues left on the walls

Thanks for any pointers

P.S. Already tried searching plot summaries/recommendations on IMDB, asking local video library for a print out of my account, and searching by hand in the store.

It made me think of exitenz.. but, that one did have a few "big names" while remaining more on the lower budget scale.

I was actually made in 99, but wasn't released right away, and was under the radar for awhile as well.. (I seem to recall their was very little publicity until it came out on video)

I don't want to say anything else, because some of it is part of the "twist"..

There is a movie called Game Box 1.0 that has the girl that played Topenga in Boy meets World, but I don't know anything about the plot..

Not Jumanji or Zathura, which were similar - probably not The Number 23 as there weren't clues on the wall but calculations with the answer 23.
