So if I got unlimited texting, I could instant message people all day if I wanted? That's what I might do, since I'm kinda phone shy, but like to communicate with friends over the internet. I got my LG Chocolate mainly because I could listen to music on it, but then I could call my mom or bro or whoever if I needed to. It's working out pretty good like that, but it'd be nice to ride my bike and listen to music and IM people at the same time.

Double check with your carrier that IM's count in the unlimited text add on. It probably will (it does in T-Mobile) but it could be a loophole they would charge you for.
