Dangerous Ouija Boards?

Why does everyone say that using Ouija Boards is most dangerous when trying to communicate with spirits? Have you ever tried it?

Ouija Boards or Witching Boards are very volitile. I have been a witch for many years around many fellow pagans, and i will tell you that this is one of the most open portals to psychic work... anything can come in.

Several things to consider... who made the board? What mood or energy was put into it? Are the materials all natural? What is the eye made of? How grounded are the participents? How protected are you spiritually? What is your test questions to see if you have a genuine spirit or a posing spirit?

Once you open the portal, anything can come to it. You are inviting them. They can pose as what you want.

Now true, you can have that with other forms of divinition, but it happens more often with Ouija Boards. I have messed with them 3 times, and everytime, we have had a bad spirit try to come through and had to stop.

I don't wish to mess with them anymore.

Yes they're dangerous, especially the wooden ones. You can drop it on your foot and it would hurt, or if someone hits you with it it can cause very real injuries. But that's about it. Ouija boards were nothing but a gag, just like the Magic 8-Ball, until they were 'given' their strange powers by a bunch of fundamentalist hysterical church groups. Seriously, a bunch of uptight evangelists said "that thar's the dayvil", and that's how Ouija boards became portals to the underworld. Before then, no paranormal incidents were reported. Before The Exorcist came out on the screen, nobody got possessed by using them. If you want to believe that Ouija boards are demonic or whatever, logic dictates that you also must believe that Mickey Mouse, Ozzy, the Twilight books, Marilyn Manson, Sesame Street, Motley Crue, the Teletubbies and Harry Potter will also send your soul into damnation. The same crowd that wanted to ban the Ouija board has actually made similar claims about all that stuff and more, so what does that tell you. Look it up if you don't believe me.

This is due to a religious belief usually connected to the christian Bible that says one should not attempt to communicate with the dead or spirits. With the exception of the Holy Spirit perhaps.
There is a book called "Ouija: The Most Dangerous Game" by Stoker Hunt,

However, the Ouija board was tested by Michael Faraday (google or wikipeda him) inventor of the Faraday cage and always found that force was used to move the planchette (triangle piece).
If the board works art all it through your subconscious answering questions (and possibly ESP) but no good controlled experiments have yet been set up to study this idea.

Yes. I have conducted some explorations of the board and it resulted in zero unknown information or anything remotely unexplained. This doesn't mean it's not possible just that my explorations showed no evidence.

No I have not. But I want one. But my mother will not let me, she saids that ouija boards are evil and if I use one then I'm leting Satan into my life. But I don't belive her. I think she just saids that caz she knows that I love creepy, mythical, magical, and odd things. Also thing about what people say about a ouija boards most dangerous when trying to communicate with spirits is like what my mom saids. Some people think that a Ouija Board is evil and that satan will do something to you if you use one and some people think that it's ok as long as you don't contact spirits because some spirits are evil and can fool you. I have seen many results from Ouija board one is to become obsessed or possessed!

People who are untrained and unsophisticated in the field of the paranormal and supernatural should never play with devices such as the Ouija board!

If you want to communicate with Spirits work on your Psychic senses and do it the right way it may take longer however it is more rewarding : ) The easy way is not always the right way, you have to work for your rewards with knowledge

I personally think ouiji boards are awesome! I've used an ouiji board about 6 times before, and nothing scary happened afterwards. The thing is, is that I ONLY use it when I have friends or family around. I love creepy things. It's just fun to me. It's fun to talk to the dead, and get scared out of your mind, to me at least. I'm a weird one.
