It doesn't fit the mold that the media has currently established to sell papers and attract viewers. They know that reporting a certain type of story sells more because media outlets don't care about the overall truth, they are businesses that market "a truth" (comparered to the "whole truth") that will sell papers for thier profit. Most of the time thats bad news or news that runs against the current (liberal or conservative) power base of the country. So to most media outlets, its not really newsworthy, since they define newsworthy.

Lie to the people and call themselves "news media" Fox does. Believe anything that Fox says I do not. Owned by Rupert Murdock it is. Of the Dark Side he is.
Kissing China's a** he is. Only to get exclusive rights to "news" reporting in China does he do this. The truth you should learn first. Much confusion would it save you.

Umm Ruth, look at the link.
The mainstream press probably wont pick it up though as it does not fit their paradigms as to what is "newsworthy." If the current president got mustard on his shirt though, it would be the top news story of the day.
