I took off two days a few weeks ago. The first day, my car overheated in traffic, I had to turn around and go home, barely making it back. The following day I took my car to the mechanic, where the car stayed for 9 hours for them to fix it and was told after all that time they couldn't find anything wrong with it. It was actually a relief to go back to work
