Mustafa is like Shoppers' Stop or Citi Centre elsewhere. I bought a keyboard, Casio, of very good quality and at reasonable price there.

Mustafa is a different tune as other shopping malls, this 24-hour six-storey shopping centre stocks everything, which caters mainly to the budget market. so insomniacs, shopaholics and jet-lagged tourists know where to head to if they’re looking for a late-night bargain.

The department store at Mustafa Centre consists of two shopping centres: one retailing jewellery and household appliances, and has a supermarket; and the other selling books, CDs and DVDs, watches, electronic goods, footware and clothing. Mustafa offers 15,000 types of merchandise at some of the lowest fixed prices in Singapore.

Yes, they sell almost everything under the sun at a lower rate as compared to stores selling specialized merchandises. It is owned by an Indian and the sales personnel there are mainly Indians. If you intend to get certain items there, be sure to have done a research before you go because they can be clueless as to what you need because of the language barrier (for some) or their lack of professional knowledge. Always ask for a certification to verify the item's authenticity if you are purchasing diamonds, gold or IT products.
