This is interesting. lol I think that some of the animals your ferret has killed (very small baby ferrets, newborn and very small puppies) resembled or were about the size of mice or even rats. Ferrets will hunt and attack small creatures such as rodents and birds. It is best to keep your ferret away from these types of animals or baby animals that are small in size. Had you done your research on ferrets you would know this.

As far as attacking full size cats and dogs...I'm not sure here. I feel you may be confused. Ferrets think they can take on the world and will normally, foolishly on their part, try to play with cats and dogs. This happens to be more dangerous for the ferret then for the cat or dog. Was he doing the warrior dance? Jumping? Biting? This is normal play. He may have accidently hit a tender spot...like an eye or nose.

I have heard of ferrets being protective or territorial over their owners and their owners space. This isn't unusual as dogs and cats can be the same way. I have never experienced this as my ferrets are not this way with anyone.

I think some of this 'violence' you are mistaking for play. Most people who don't know much about ferrets do. You also need to do your research about ferrets. It would have prevented a lot of the misshaps AND will teach you a thing or two about ferret behavior and body language.

Keep in mind that I NEVER recommend people let their ferrets have full run of the whole home. I keep them in my bedroom. I also forbid exposure to small animals because they will KILL them. As far as introducing to cats and dogs...its OK, but only if they are very closely supervised. I also think after you learn a little more about ferrets, that you should save up and purchase another one. I think part of the problem is your ferret is frustrated. He doesn't have a ferret friend to play with how ferrets are supposed to.

Keep it secluded in an area where nothing is living otherwise it will attack and maybe kill. Teach tell it no if it does something wrong tap its nose gently and say no so that it gets the message that its wrong.
Kind Regards Matt :]

WOW...he ate other ferrets? This thing should be kept in a cage most of the time. Only let him out when you are able to watch him.

He can't be trained to stop. You have to keep him away from other animals. This is your responsibility, so make sure he doesn't hurt anyone else's pets. Legally they can have him destroyed if he kills someone's pets.

agression is a really hard trait to get out of an animal. You can try contacting a animal behaviorist and see is they can help

Are you serious? Well, the only thing to do is have this ferret put to sleep (euthanized) .
