Yes it would feel cooler than the water in the shower. Is it possible that you actually urinated and didn't realise. It can be quite common to lose control in that dept at this stage of pregnancy.

If unsure, pop a pad on and lie down for at least 15 minutes, more if able. then sit up. if your pad is wet your waters probably did break and you should let the hospital know as the longer your waters are broken and bub is still in there he/she is at risk or infection.

Being 36 weeks (you are technically still pre-term) it would be an idea to let your midwife/obstetrician or place of delivery know and they can advise you further

as others have said it is warm - but in the shower it will be cooler then the hot water (the fluid will be 98.7 degrees - when you take a warm shower the water is over 100degrees...usually 110..

when you walk around, turn suddenly, cough or do any sudden movements does more fluid come out? If your water broke it will continue to leak out. If so go to the Hospital. It is possible for you to spontaneously pee on yourself, you do have an 8 lb baby jumping around on your bladder, but if it's amniotic fluid you will still be wet and fluid will continue to come.

If it broke, you'd know it, even in the shower, because once you got out, it would still be leaking. If you're nervous or worried call the doctor. The water would be warm as well, but as others have stated, it wouldn't feel warm in a hot shower, it would be hard to notice the temperature in that situation. Good luck to you and congrats on the baby!!

If you are still leaking fluid, I would run to the labor and delivery of the nearest hospital especially at 36 weeks. Or you can call the labor and delivery of the hospital you plan on delivering at and a charge nurse will ask you a series of questions, and based on your answers, the charge nurse will let you know if you need to come in or not. However, like the answers above, compared to a hot shower, this may definitely feel cooler.

probably cooler, I know this is gross hah but I have peed in the shower and it's colder than the hot water, and since both liquids are around the same locations sorta and hitting the same nerves (on the leg) I'd imagine that the water breaking would be cool as well

Hi,
Warm because it's inside in the body away from the cold. You'll feel a warm sensation. Nothing major.
Hope this helps,
Kind Regards Matt :]

Compared to hot water in the shower, it would feel cool. Call your doctor and ask. You probably need to get to the hospital to be checked immediately. Otherwise, you could get an infection!

it's gonna be as warm as your body temp. and you'll know when it brake. your belly may look a little smaller and not so round. you'll probably see the shape of the baby.
