It could be a few things...but it depends how spiritual you are to take these options as possibilites. 1-you've shifted the Energy around you by thoughts or unintended meditation and have increased positivity. 2-you may have been visited by familiar spirits which would explain why you felt the peacefulness and encountered phantom smells.

It sounds like to me you have enjoyed love & healing left with peace maybe from a family member that has past over or even a Angel healing
Has something be worrying you and did you feel warm or even get hot ?
Smelling flowers is from Spirit it means love so even someone that has past over wanting you to feel their love or you needed some love for your Heart Chakra
Clairolerance - The Smell
The sense of Smelling different fragrances from Spirits to find that earthly connection, strong odours you can't escape and can't explain a reason for eg: Cooking odours, Perfumes, Cigars or Cigarettes, Flowers, Extra. The characteristic essence linked to a spirit on the other side.
Love & Blessings

I believe in spirits of a sort, though not as ghosts let me assure you! But I believe each person with any sensitivity at all has felt a little presence of SOMEthing at some point in their lives.
Some meditate for hours to reach the point where they can feel the peace you felt, Very Nice Guy, and you just lucked out on a moment of bliss in your everyday life.
I've felt a small wisp of a breeze indoors at one point during a "heavy thought" period, it was refreshing for a moment. And I have talked to many others who attest to feeling or seeing a comforting presence. I think it happens most with the elderly: they are often in a quiet situation, they have many memories to meditate on and they know many people who have passed away.
So just count it as a small, pleasant blessing and go on your way, I'd say.

I totally understand you. My mother died when I was 19 and I started to feel it really hard about two years ago when I was 27 and pregnant with my first child. I cried for her everyday, wondering why she had to leave me without a mother. I had a very hard time dealing with it and had to seek professional counseling because of it. If you don't want to go that route, talk to your father or other family members to try a find out things that you didn't know about her. It helped me alot, I went through old pictures and listened to old stories about her childhood from my aunts and uncles and my father. I also would go to the cemetary ( something I could never do before) and talk to her about what was going on in my life. Sometimes we can block things out that we choose not to deal with, but eventually you have to face them head on. I hope this helps you. It's been 10 yrs and some days are still harder than others.

Sudden feeling of peace? Explaination?
I was sitting in my bedroom right in front of my PC's monitor, suddenly a funny feeling of peacefulness came. It was weird, but it felt rather good. And out of no where, it smelt quite good too! (Some...

I have been sick for the last couple of days but kept coming in to work. This morning I woke up feeling better but when I got to work I felt like I was going to have a panic attack, but there was no hyperventilation. Suddenly I feel warm and a bit of a tingly sensation all over my body and suddenly felt "peace". First thing I thought was that I was going to have a heart attack because the left side of my chest suddenly began to jump internally. What could it be?

Did you ask your angel for something? Were you thinking of a loved one who has passed? All depends what your thoughts have been lately. Someone could also be praying for you. Isn't it a great feeling?

I'm not sure, but I'm sure it's a beautiful feeling so just enjoy it and try not let anyone spoil the moment by freaking you out. The way I see it is God is giving you, for whatever reason, a glimpse of heaven.

It's called contentedness, and I'd suggest that you were distracted from your everyday concerns for long enough that it overcame you despite yourself! If you don't experience this very often, I recommend you try meditating, and you should experience this wonderful feeling more often.
Good luck!
