you should consider a scooter. some are up high as 400cc-650cc.
lower price, same if not better acceleration and handling. and its clutch-less. best for in-town and commuting. unless you just gotta have the gears. my .02cents

Even throught the bike motor is the main serious situation, the bike continues to be significant. you like a street bike with 23 mm huge or so intense rigidity tires (one hundred ten to one hundred twenty psi) . the version in rolling resistance will make you experience such as you're flying. i'm a fifty 8 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous smoker (i'm workin' on it), very almost 200 pounds, and that i will wide-unfold over 15 mph for as much as 30 miles. I particular could not do this on a mountain bike. the main serious situation is the tires. My spouse has an previous (affordable) street bike that's heavier than her new mountain bike, yet with the thin intense rigidity tires on the line bike she continues to be swifter with it. of path if it have been lighter she would be even swifter nevertheless.

Below 600cc sportbike? - Kawasaki 500 ninja.
Doesn't have the 0 -120mph in 8 seconds power, as the 600cc sportbikes.
It has a 2 cylinder engine and is quite tame, compared to it's bigger brothers.
The styling is equal to a full sized sport bike, so driving down the road, on-lookers won't know the difference.
It's not a put-put by any means.
It's got the power and speed to keep up with conventional sport bikes in traffic.
The light weight makes it an easy starter bike and very nimble in turns.
Another bonus - it's very inexpensive compared to other bikes.
And since it's a smaller cc engine, the insurance will be lower.

I have been into motorcycles for over 20 years and subscribe to several magazines. My recommendation would be for you to look at the Suzuki 650 SV. the bike has scored well in many tests and is relatively inexpensive. it has plenty of power to get you around town and than some. the problem with bikes under 500 cc is, that you most likely outgrow it quickly.

hi, bearing in mind that bmw dont make a su b 300 cc bike that leaves the japs, i personally dont like honda, when they are new they are excellent but they redevelop engines every 2 or 3 years, kawasaki produce engines for lots longer so parts end up being more available and cheaper. i run a yamaha but from your choices its got to be kawasaki. cheers
