Preferably without spending much money. Any suggestions or websites that you know of with great ideas?

Im no Aussie but they are known for beaches go down there with a surf board and surf new ah? just try it will be hilarious when you see each other crashing in the water like morons!!! Go to the RSL and play the pokies. Drink VB in a schooner while you're in there to save on money.
Surfing is also good if the weather isn't cold.
Bushwalking is always free and there is plenty of bush. If you're not from Australia, it's cool to see all the parrots.
