No you wouldn't gain weight. But you should wait until you decide to have a baby first.

Age has little to do with it, but most doctors won't do a tubal ligation on a woman who has not had any children. This doesn't mean it's impossible to convince one that you really want it done, but it's gonna be tough.
Weight gain would not be caused by having your tubes tied.

my doctor is saying i cant have it done because im too young! but im 19 and have two babies! i seriously cant handle any more! im still with the father! and were planning on getting married! but we both want me to do this! i dont think you should do it if your under 18, but 18 ur considered an adult and it should be your choice b/c only you know if you truly need it! so i think u should be atleast 18!!!

You might have to wait until you're about 25, but check around. You'll really have to convince a doctor that you mean it. And no, you won't gain weight: it doesn't affect your hormones.

Ahhh, it's so nice to know there are women out there who don't want to have kids, and they're serious enough about it to have tub. lig.
I think if you look around you'll eventually find a doctor who would be willing to do it.

I don't think they will do it before you're 20, if I remember right.
It shouldn't make you gain weight.
