Like being physically apart? Isn't it true that if you really love the person, no factor should stand in the way for that ?

This is true!!! However, it is the ultimate test of a relationship!! Some relationships are begun with distance, such as cyber relationships! They can be deeply intense & personal, yet, lacking the physical aspect of the relationship! This has led to many marraiges here on the internet where people up & leave thier own countries to go be with the ones they love, where ever they may be!! Very romantic!!! Its really up to us as individuals what we want in a relationship!!!

I think distance is definitely a significant factor. Long distance relationships usually don't work out. However, if you are serious with this person, and you eventually intend to move closer, then it might work.

Distance does not matter!!!! Honesty does.

I will celebrate my 8th anniversary next month with a person I met and fell in love with on the internet ... me in the USA, my partner in Australia. When I moved to Australia our relationship was 2 years old, and all done by internet, phone, fax and snail mail. It was without camera's or voice chat. Our solidarity came through honesty with each other ... and it has stuck!

Ive been having long distance rship. Knew him for a year plus before we indulge in a rship. Nearly a year now and its still fantastic. It wont work for eveyrone. If ya the sort who love space and not clingy, it ll work for u. If you are the sort who has to have someone by ur side all the time, it might not.

I think it depends on the person,I'm pretty independent,so is my guy friend. He's away a lot, working in the wilderness;and yes,I miss him an awful lot.
not so uncommon around here to have long term relationships periodically long distance.

distance does matter in a romantic relationship, but we understand it happens because of careers..but that does not stop the love we have for each other

well, i think distance matters sometimes. i want to be with my other half. but he is on the other side of the country. We already have a great friendship, and when we see each other, i know it will be totally worth the wait. ;)
