Would you take the possibly boring route of someone reliable and stable, or would you take a risk by going for someone you have a fiery passion for and will most definitely have ups and downs with?

Who needs extra ups and down?
Exciting and unpredictable generally translate to psychotic,
unreliable, unfaithful, disloyal, disrespectful, uncaring, heartless, deceptive, love-impaired or unable to receive and reciprocate love,
adventurous..with other sex partners, and unattainable.
Really sounds like taking a risk to me.
They are adrenaline junkies who get bored after completing a challenge and moves right along to the next new dare. It's some fiery passion I'd say? But then again some of up are attracted to chaos and bad relationships.
Me, I'd just take the prudent route and stay with my predictably loyal and reliable. There's not much drama and the person isn't merely another shallow shell. But that's just me.

I personally would go with someone who is stable and reliable, but that is because I need just something steady now. I would not want any more surprises then I do with my now reliable and stable relationship. With someone who you think is going to be boring, once you get to know them you will find out a lot, and you will have ups and downs too. But atleast they will be a little bit more predictable and most likely more loyal.

Boring does get old sometimes, but if the fiery passion and the exciting and unpredictable meant me getting dissed or disrespected in any way, shape, form or fashion, I'll take Mr. Boring and Loyal any day of the week! Mr. Exciting would be LUCKY if he even got the Three Strikes Rule with me!

As you describe it, an "exciting and unpredictable" relationship will have it's ups and downs which, in itself, foreshadows that the relationship would be tenuous and short lived at best...
not the atmosphere of certainty where we'd like to be.

While, on the other hand, if one seeks stability, assurance and security, the relationship with one who is "loyal and reliable" guarantees one in which the fear, paranoia and disillusionment associated with any possible end-game would be all but eliminated from the picture.

Based on these characteristics as well as personal experience, I would choose loyalty and reliability above anything else.

Reliable and stable is not boring. I've been with my guy for almost 3 years. We are good. I have never been one for drama and bulltihs...We both know what we like and what we dont. I've been with in the exciting and unpredictable relationship...turns out he had A.D.D...no joke!

Loyal reliable and stable

A relationship is not all about sex but having a companion to grow old with and always have by your side at the same level to share feelings with you through the good and bad times and to always trust and cherish.....
