I am in the USA, and I am praying for all of Greece. I have a friend in Athens and wish to know if the fire is now in Athens? I am praying that God will let the fire die and not anymore people. I love you, Greece and may God bless you.

Not as of now (noon 8/26). However, a number of houses which had been built in or near forests in Attica (the region where Athens is situated) have been destroyed.

and fire still goes on...
there is a fire in the mountain outside Athens, people are safe for now, but in future time the consequences will be the worst for citizens in Athens

Well I live in Athens and till now there is no fire close to the city,yesterday we had a fire at Imitos Mountain but it is under control(I hope).The big problem is in Peloponisos and Euvia that fire is burning still out of control.Things are really bad there and people need all the help they can get.Lets hope that we will not live another night of apocalypses here in Greece.Good luck to those who need it....
