who said you cant train a fish? i trained my fish to lie down and backflip using simple hand motions. as for the arowana i suggest you stay close to the tank(sitting next to it) for long amounts of time until they get used to it.

You can't train a fish! Do you have plants in the tank? You need to get three or four bunches of anacharis or some other water plant and put them in the tank so the fish will have a place to hide when they are stressed.This will make them feel more secure and they may not panic so much.Stress is very bad for fish;it can kill them.

it's a FISH! wouldn't you panic if you had no control over whether you got flushed down the toilet? you want to train a fish? get a dog.
