i currently have a wifi thats 54 mbps or w.e
i saw this one that runs at 108 mbps...would getting this make my downloads faster? wats the difference if it doesnt?

NOPE! Your bandwidth limit would be your DSL connection even if ADSL2 Plus. However, 802.11n (108mbps) may increase your range if both router and wifi adapter are 802.11n capable.

it also depends on your internet service provider, and what kinds of signals a wireless router can give out, if you really need to get faster i would definitely suggest going with a really long ethernet cable, it would give you more fastest and direct speeds

but to answer your question it might make your downloads a little bit faster if do you get the 108mbs wireless adaptor

Yes depending on your DSL service, but I doubt it. Most DSL services run less than 10Mbps down load bandwidth. Check your routers website for the latest firmware updates. That would make a more significant change.

It won't make your DSL any faster...
But since your DSL speed is probably at least 768Kb(its)ps then your wirelessly connected computers will be able to get up to 96 Kb(ytes)ps...... oh.
54Mbps is way over what any broadband connection gets right now, so no, it won't speed your connection up, it will only effect your local network.
