Metallica has sucked for so many reasons for a very long time... Up to "Master Of Puppets," classic influential metal. After "Master...," Money and media whores with 0 integrity.
And I know everybody says after the black album. The black album was crap

The only Metallica album I dislike is "St. Anger". Not because it's not good. It's because Metallica wasn't the Metallica we always knew on that album. They were different, but I heard that the new album will be kickin' ***! :)

if you listen carefully to justice for all you can hear a change in sound to a more punky sound. The first chapter of metallica's demise. the black albulm. metallica goes comercial. the rest is just crap.

I know that by changing their style most of their older fanbase thinks they've lost it. I loved everything they did prior to Load. I just couldn't get into their new sound. But- thankfully they are working with the awesome producer Rick Rubin. And hopefully he can resurrect their heavier sound. Rick Rubin is the mastermind behind Reign In Blood, Seasons in The Abyss, and South of Heaven, Danzig's first albums. I have hope.

Let's see what will come out of their 2008 album, if it's St.anger 2 or Re-St.anger...well perhaps they're losing it...
But I still love them & love their music,
no-one can make another "Master of puppets" album, it's unique.

They lost it after And Justice For All. But that album and everything before it is amazing. Everything after? Not so much.
