So far, (1st 6 answers) I've got 2 definitions.
And a "Utopia" and 3 "PC" comments.
(I'm looking for whatever the definition is that you find so offensive.)

You could easily be describing the condition of the United States, which incorporates many diverse cultures that have come here or have already been established here and which we would like to believe co-exist in harmonious relationships with one another, respecting and accepting each others' differences so all might enjoy the freedom and democracy afforded to all those believing in and supporting it's values.

It means that Americans are all colors, shapes and sizes. Not all are WASP's, white Anglo-Saxon Protestants.
Don't forget the original Americans were Indians.
