No. He's close but obviously not good enough.

It really depends a lot on if he has a bit of a comeback or if he is on the downward path.
People who said defense doesn't usually get 3Bmen into the Hall are right--in fact, 3B has the lowest numbers in the Hall of any position players.
The only number he's in the top 25 of among active players is doubles, and he is at #25. He's never led the league in any hitting category. And his age does seem like it is starting to show a bit early.
He's a fine player. But at 3B in his time, Chipper Jones and Alex Rodriguez have been much, much better. The odds of three current players at that position all being Hall of Famers is very low.

Bunch of good seasons, some very good, only one truly great year.
Already 32, hoping for improvement isn't realistic.
Injury prone -- which isn't anything by itself, but as he gets older, he might get injured more, or take even longer to rehab. Time away from the field constitutes zero value.
Postseason numbers not as good as purported Playoff Choker Barry Bonds.
Good defensively, but it takes great -- no, legendary -- defense to get the voters to give D much consideration.
Santo's not in, and he was a better 3Bman.
Rolen's not done yet, and could end up looking better, maybe better enough, but by now we've seen his best, and it doesn't look to be quite Hall measure yet. Could change. Doubt it.

absolutely not. 261 career homeruns and a .284 avg are not hall of fame numbers. The fact that he is the best defensive third baseman in the league and the smartest baserunner as well do not bolster his resume enough. He's a very quality player though.

If he were to get over his injury issues and put up big numbers again i would say possibly, but at this point in his career I would say its highly unlikely, because they rarely put in 3rd basemen for their defense.
