"The one that has me most stunned right now is the information dug up and actually published (in the Prince George's Journal of Prince George, MD) way back on Feb. 4, 2003, reporting that George Bush's obscure youngest brother Marvin was on the board of directors of a company called Securacom (now changed to Stratesec) that was responsible for providing "electronic security" to the World Trade Center right up to 9/11/2001."

Well now, isn't that interesting. That, as a mere coincidence, is pretty hard to swallow!

And the guy who accused you of wearing a tinfoil hat...is being disingenuous. It takes absolutely no imagination to know that there is something very wrong that the Presidents brother would be sitting on the board of an outfit that was responsible for electronic security at the WTC right up until it came down.

Oh, and that he himself was off the board a year prior to 9/11 makes the coincidence even more compelling... not less.

That...is WAY too suspect to wave off.

I think you'll find the following info on Marvin Bush even more interesting, added to what you've already mentioned.

Marvin Bush was a director and a shareholder:

From 1993 until June 2000, he was on the board of directors of the Sterling, Virginia company Stratesec (formerly known as Securacom),which had contracts to provide security for United Airlines, Dulles International Airport, and the World Trade Center. The Securacom/Stratesec company was publicly traded and backed by an investment firm, the Kuwait-American Corporation. In 1996, Marvin Bush had 53,000 shares in the company's stock he bought at 52 cents a share. In 1997 the stock sold for $8.50 a share. Marvin Bush was no longer listed as a shareholder by the end of 2000. (Wikipedia)

Thus, Marvin was not only not the head of security, he had sold his interests in the company that provided security in 2000.

Marvin Bush was affiliated with a security company that had contracts with the World Trade Center and the United States government. Regardless of when he "left", it seems to be too much of a coincidence. If nothing else, it appears to be a conflict of interest that he would be involved in a company that did business with his brother's administration.
George H.W. Bush immediately joined the Carlyle Group after he "left" the White House, a company that quickly became one of the U.S. government's most prolific contractors, providing consulting services. Many of the original investors in this corporation were from Saudi Arabia, including one family that invested $2.5 million by the name of binLaden. Regardless of when Bush, Sr. "left" the White House, it seems to much of a coincidence. If nothing else, it appears to be a conflict of interest that Bush, Sr. would be affiliated with a company that did business with his son's administration.
Dick Cheney "left" Halliburton as its CEO just prior to being elected Vice-President of the United States. It seems to be too much of a coincidence that his former employer, who bestowed an outrageous multi-million-dollar 'golden parachute' on Cheney, would suddenly become one of the largest government contractors to the United States government, including one of its primary suppliers to the Iraqi 'war'. If nothing else, it appears to be a gross conflict of interest that Halliburton would quickly recoup the Cheney bonus - and BILLIONS more - while doing business with the second-in-command in the new administration.
Keith Preston once said: "Democracy: an institution in which the 'whole' is equal to the 'scum' of the parts."
Adolph Hitler once said: "How fortunate for governments that the people the administer don't think."
These are just three examples of the gross corruption, conflicts of interest, and malfeasance that has taken place during the Bush administration and its insipid 'war' on Iraq. -RKO- 08/26/07

Marvin Bush?

He didn't. That is a moronic conclusion resulting from a public statement that Securacom was responsible for WTC security until the buildings were destroyed.

Conspiracy nuts have concluded that this meant the contract ended the day before the attack on the WTC. This is incorrect. The correct interpretation of the statement is that the company didn't have any responsibility for security of the WTC after the event because the buildings were destroyed.

Note that Bush left Securacom some time before the event as well.

I've never heard of any Marvin Bush. I thought the head of security for the WTC was a guy named O'Neill

Just google marvin bush + WTC - it will answer your question more than adequately.

He may have "left" Securacom, but so did Cheney "leave" Halliburton when he became VP.

1.) Marvin Bush was not the head of anything. He was on the board of directors of the company.

2.) He left that position in June of 2000.

3.) You need to tighten your tinfoil hat.
