Me myself I wouldn't but I can understand why people would want to. It validates the fact that you are beautiful to not only yourself but to the fashion world. It is worth it to allot of people just to get the latest fashions. Don't get me wrong the Celebrities status and money that comes with it is nice to but really I have a cousin who use to model just for free clothes.
It was on a very small scale she would basically go around and model clothes for different stores during there grand opening etc

Because sometimes it brings huge amounts of money, international travel first class, designer clothing and fame. It doesn't require much training and confirms just how gorgeous you are ( people get paid to say that to you, but you don't care to think about it ). It also brings eating disorders, drug and alcohol addictions, rapes and insecurity ( because there is always someone younger and better looking than you are ), but no one wishes to discuss it. This job is perfect for extremely insecure and easily manageable people. If you have any self worth, this job isn't for you.

Models can gain a lot of fame and fortune from just being able to look pretty, walk sexily, pose and possibly memorize some basic speech. Some people prefer not to use their brain if they don't have to.

Some people are just shallow. But they just have to wait till they're in their thirties and realise how much time they wasted on their looks instead of thinking about the future.

well it goes some people self assurance.
other people like to express themselves through modeling
and some people love the idea of putting on tons of makeup, getting your hair done, putting on expensive clothes, and modeling them.
and for some people...thats all they think they can do
it depends on the person though.

it could be fulfilling. not ALL models are vapid and shallow. There are a few decent ones who try and contribute something positive to the world.
But personally, I don't understand it. They could be a doctor or anything else.

They like $$$$$$$. Apparently, you don't know that these people probably make more $$$$$$than you & I will ever see in our lifetime.
