By 30, a person should be getting or have gotten life together, a job, some responsibility. But immaturity is hard to define. I'm 38 and still find things very funny that others may not at my age, I still believe people are good at heart and until they prove me wrong I trust them, most people think I'm very naive. Point: If it's unrealistic for me to still not be laughing and enjoying life, giving people chances if they need them or not, maybe I am immature. However, I have career, marriage and wonderful friends and supportive family- mom and sister are my 2 BEST friends. So I rambled again instead of answering question, but I don't know what you really mean by unrealistic----be happy and enjoy life wishing you the best!

It would depend on what you consider to be unrealistic. Men is there 40s and 50s go through a midlife crisis and want to repeat their glory years when they were young adults. This is not a sign of immaturity, its just human nature.
Does this person have imaginary friends or does he hear voices? It might be a medical problem.
If he has champagne tastes & no job, its not a sign of immaturity. It may be because he is L-A-Z-Y!!!
