my meal was brought out on a bus cart and the waitress stopped and bussed a table on her way to serve us our food! Pretty unproffesional i thought.

That is completely unacceptable,
I have worked in food service for 20 years and I would walk out if I saw that happening, even to someone elses food !!!
But I would talk to a manager first, that is disgusting.
What kind of place was this??

Im a manager and I'd be appaled if my staff did that. Class of establishment or not. Food and a bus tub (or cart) do not go hand in hand unless the food is being removed and trashed in a bus tub. This is a health code violation and i'd report it immediately.

Unfortunately, it depends on the class of the restaurant. But if you don't feel comfortable, then explain it to the manager.
The only thing I would worry about is if I stay would they serve me the same dish or would they cook the food fresh. Also, would they put something horrible in my food.

I despise when I'm eating at a restaurant, and they are sweeping the floor or carpet by me. I HATE THAT!!

My compliments on the avatar. It can't be safe to clean up after others, then pick up the fresh dishes with those same dirty fingers. Should have brought the fresh food, then cleaned up!

Leave and on your way out, complain to the manager.

Ask for a manager and point it out to them. I'd be curious as to what their reaction is.

I'd tell the manager, maybe they'll give you a free meal for it.

Depends where it was. I can definitely see that happening is some places...where that wouldn't be the worst thing that happened to your food.
