I would buy neither:
I assume these are desktops without monitors and speakers.
Computer brand and model numbers would have been helpful.
The first one does not have a dual type processor and is a slow processor so I would not buy it.

The second one the information is not correct.
Does it have a hard drive?
A Pentium 4 is a not a dual core processor, it only has a single core processor.
$450 for a P4 is ridiculous.

If it is a Pentium D 3.2 GHz then it is a still high without a monitor but not ridiculously high.

The first one. The hard drive is missing from the other one and that will set you back another 250 dollars and you paid 450 dollars already. Not a good deal.
Windows service pack professional is available in both so thats good, I like the dual processor in the second one plus the DVD_CDRW disk drive but you can always get that later, and lets face it. Most people like to own these features but do you really really need them?

To run gta 4 on max photographs u choose a quad center and a much better photographs card (a minimum of a 275 gtx) and eight gb of ram is reliable, this laptop in basic terms makes use of 3gb of ram however by using fact it is on 32 bit vista extremely than sixty 4 bit vista.and being shop offered it probable has an horrific motherboard and ram. I even have a quad q6600 and u ought to overclock it however the q9550s are reliable, if u hav 4gb of ram there is one which would be doing no longer something, so spend slightly extra or purchase that one and replace the os, motherboard, photographs and skill furnish or purchase a extra fee-effective one with various of the aspects and improve it. the main inexpensive decision could be to purchase the aspects and construct it your self

I would go for the second one since it has better stuff.
And i would try to get a computer without an Operating System (OS) because Linux is free and is better.
I'm using Ubuntu 7.04 and it rocks!!

You don't say what Hard Drive the second one has so it is a bit difficult to comment! Assuming that it has at least 200GB then I would buy the second one for $450!
