Try your hand at different things and find something you're good at. I know this is cliched, but every person has some good things about them. Find yours!

Also, practice acts of self-control. When your co-worker spills coffee on your important papers and you really want to just let go and yell, hold it in. It feels really good to be in control of yourself. It's the only thing you can control in life. :) It might even help to keep a journal or a log of your acts of self-control. Then you can really look back at your accomplishments and feel like you're worth something!

Good luck!

Stop worrying about public opinions of yourself. They can only hurt you, if you let them. Don't give them that much power.
You can always ask your friends and family members why do they love you and take their answers to heart. The point is: you are very special. Try not to forget that.
