My mom gives me $200 to shop with.

I buy-
2-5 jeans
7-14 tops in the begging of the year, then I buy more during.
2-4 hoodies (I live in MN)
3 shoes
1 backpack
4-5 tank tops

I'm not exactly sure what your asking, but I hope this helped.

Jeans-2 or 3 pairs. It can be okay to get one trendy pair but make sure that you get a pair that's a good timeless style-a dark wash bootcut is always good. Also get a couple pairs of dress pants for school presentations and such.
Tops-I'd maybe get 20 tops altogether, depending on how much you already have. Get stuff like skinny tanks, basic graphic tees, and then whatever is your style, be it funky, classic, preppy, or whatever.
Hoodies-At least 3 to 5. Depending on where you live, it may not be a big thing that you need a ton of right away. However you should also get a great jacket, one that you can wear when it does get colder.
Shoes-At least one pair of trainers (for gym, working out), a couple pairs of casual shoes such as ballerina flats, a couple pairs of dress shoes, a pair of black mid-heeled boots, and flip-flops.
Skirts-Only a couple, maybe 2 or 3. Get one knee-length skirt and one mid-thigh, that your mom will approve of. Not all moms approve of the micro-miniskirts and plus you want to dress to suit your body type. That's the biggest thing. If you are brave, you should try one of the big trends, which is a high-waisted skirt. (tuck the shirt in) It's a very Carolina Herrera look, something nice and classy and unexpected for teens, but it can work.
Camis-As many as you want. I'd at least get a black, a white, and a nude-coloured though.
Sweaters-Maybe 1 or 2, this is one that can hold off until at least October, when more sweaters will be in stock and you can shop the sales.

As for myself, I didn't purchase for school because I am out of school. However I am a fairly recent graduate and so I am giving estimates based on what I would traditionally get. By no means do you have to buy all of this at once, shop the sale racks because you can get tanks and graphic tees for low prices and it's not going to be winter when you start school, after all.

In Order:
jeans - is that the only type of pants you are going to wear? Then you need five. If you wear other pants, then three.
tops - seven Tshirts, in various necklines and sleeve lengths, in brights or pastels that flatter your complexion. Maybe three-four blouses or button shirts
hoodies - three or four, in various styles and colors
shoes - ballet flats, skechers, slip ons, sneakers, sandals or flip flops
skirts - three or four
camis - usually aren't allowed in school
sweaters - pullovers or cardigans? A dressy one, a bulky one, a medium thick one

don't buy too much rich clothes that will make you look like a spoiled brat.

I am 14 entering highschool and I will spend 100 dollars of MY OWN money.
