Sorry about your aches and pains!!! You are so young.
I personally like to read a good book, listen to the radio and sing along to the songs I enjoy, I like to work out in the yard ( mow the grass and everything that goes with that). When I am really, really tired and stressed I generally take a long, hot bath and soak in the bathtub while reading. I like the way the hot water relaxes my poor back and knees. I too have a bit of a problem with my knees and back too.
Try talking to a friend to get a different perspective on your problem(s).
Hope this helps a bit.
Remember, everything will work out in the long run, Take care of your self!!!! Also remember that you are not alone with your problems.

What I do is I turn on the shower and stop up the tub. I put some bath crystals in the tub, the kind that are minty smelling, they have a relaxing feeling once the water hits them. Then I just sit there, lean forward so that the water from the shower head is hitting my back. I just let my head hang (I know that sounds wierd, but you use your neck muscles a lot), that way you are putting absolutely no stress on all the usual spots yet letting the water hit them like a massage. At the same time, the tub is filling up, and the water is acting like a cushion for the rest of my body. I don't stay in too long, only about 10 minutes, because I usually have more stressful things to go worry about lol.

It's the little things we do every day that can help us calm down and relax! In the morning, go out for a brisk, fresh walk and just to breathe some morning air. You can also take hot, relaxing baths at night, or curl up with a good book on your bed. Don't worry about your problems all day; it'll just make you more stressed. I know exactly how you feel, because I've been stressed too! What I do, is I just try to not think about my problems for certain times of the day. I also talk to someone close about how I'm stressed, and sometimes just talking to someone about it and letting out your feelings makes you feel better. If you really feel like you can't stand it anymore, then just take a break from it all, and go on vacation to somewhere. Even camping for a few days in the woods or going to a big city would help. It would help you get away from at all, and take some time to think things out and really calm your mind down.

Firstly you need to be in a quiet environment or listening to 'quiet' / meditative music..... Close your eyes and imagine yourself on the most beautiful island, lying in a hammock, (or wherever you think is a special place, for you). You need to imagine all the small details and fill the picture with them......

Now focus on your breathing............................ slowly breathing in and out,........ every breath in could represent the wave as it washes onto the shore and every exhalation, the out breath..... Keep this up, the breathing and visualisation, untill you can feel how you have relaxed and your mind is not jumpy.....

You only need to do that for a few minutes to help centre your mind and relax.......

Eventually, your mind will take it as a cue that it is time to unwind a little....

Or learn how to meditate....... quite similar.....!

-First, surround the tub with scented candles and anything you want to have with you while you're relaxing.
-Then fill the tub with warm water (not that full).
-The key is to enjoy the silence that's surrounding you.
- From time to time, dive into the water.
- Enjoy!!!
