A space probe is unmanned and is usually equiped with instruments to study planets, stars, celestrial bodies, or space anomolies. A rocket is a booster vehical used to propell payloads into space. The shuttle is a reusable manned vehical used to ferry or shuttle payloads into and some times out of earth's orbit.

The space Shuttle takes human beings to and from low Earth orbit, The ISS and to service the Hubble telescope. When the Endeavour's last mission is over, There will be no more Space Shuttle Launches. Pace probes , which can and have been launched by the Space Shuttle. usually orbit planets for a number of years of getting gravity assists with sling shot orbits around other planets, including Mercury Venus, maybe Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and for the Voyagers 1 and 2 and the Uranus and Neptune. Most space probes eventually go silent and go into orbit around the Sun after they drop any cargo they may have onto the surface of a terrestrial planet or into the atmospheres of Jovian giants, with four exceptions,: Voyager 2 is already within the Solar Systems heliosheath, the equivalent of Earth's magnetosheath, and may already have gotten beyond it and is now in interstellar space; Voyager 1, which was sent in an opposite direction to Voyager 2, so it is going "along" the heliosheath's magnetic tail, and will eventually also go into interstellar space, along with Pioneers 1 and 2, which were launched earlier and and without as many gravity assists, so their final coasting velocity is slower than the velocities of the Voyagers. Now to get rid of my 14 typos before I post this, made because I'm coming out of insulin shock right now.

Space Probe- An automated spacecraft sent out of Earth's orbit that is used to study stuff in space (for example, the Cassini Probe was sent to Saturn to anaylse it and its moons). They never carry people and usually do not return to Earth.

Rocket- technically it's just a vehicle that carries fuel and oxygen and burns them to prople itself. They can only be used once. They are used to get things into space.

Space shuttle- a spacecraft that can take people and space probes into Earth's orbit. It can be used many times.
