It's not the baby's fault that his/her mom was raped. It is an innocent baby, just the same as if the baby was conceived any other way.
If she KNEW she would never love him/her ... adoption

I am totally pro-life- and the best solution for a woman who gets pregnant from rape would be adoption. I understand that it would be hard to carry a child for 9 months like that, however, life is not easy sometimes. That baby did not asked to be conceived. We should not be punishing the child for the sin of the father. And the person who said she should have an abortion because she should not have to remember being pregnant by a rapist- having an abortion does not take away the fact she was pregnant. She will not forget that. there are many couples waiting to have babies, that can't. Place for adoption- the child is an innocent victim just as much as the woman is.

If asked, I would tell someone I'm pro-life with exceptions. For the most part, I believe if you willingly get yourself pregnant through consensual sex, then you should raise the child or put it up for adoption. On the other hand, in cases of rape or health issues that would harm the mother or baby I do believe abortion is sometimes the only answer. If the only reason she's having an abortion is because she can't love the child, I would encourage them to think about adoption. Some people want children badly enough and can't have their own that they would understand and gladly care for the child regardless of how they were conceived. So my personal point of view, is to only use abortion as a last resort, after all other options have been explored and exhausted.

Rarely happens that a girl gets pregnant from rape, because her body naturally 'closes up' in such a situation.
This situation is always being brought up as an excuse. raped women make up a very small percentage of those that choose abortion
She can always give the child up for adoption.

The answer is simple: find a loving family who wants to have a child but cannot. there are systems where the parents could actually be in the room or just outside of it during delivery, and if the mother so chooses, hand him/her off immediately. You never have to see him/her if you don't want to. But of course you could if you want to.

I'd say, in that case...adoption would be the more mature option.
Abortion would only lead to a complication of the grief she'd already feel over being raped, as the procedures are very like yet another (very painful) rape.

That is a very good question.
Adoption, there are lots of people out in this world who are unable to have children of thier own. Why deny some what others may feel as a burden.

i personally would get the abortion because i dont want to have the memory of being pregnant and the horrific experience of being raped!! If early enough there is a painless way of having an abortion!! some people just can block it out that way!! But who can say what people will do until they are raped and become pregnant and are face with the choice!!
