To jill48: It's all very black and white for you, isn't it? But just as there are prochoice republicans, there are prolife democrats. No one party can claim the moral high ground.

It's obvious with GOP representatives like the corrupt Guiliani, Mark Foley the pedophile, Tom Delay the money launderer, Gonzalez the liar, Bush the liar, Cheney the psycho and sociopath, Trent Lott the KKK sympathsizer and all the other southern GOP racist candidates that they are the last ones to have any morality at all. What they do have is a whole lot of hypocrisy rapped up in a suit of corruption. How moral is it of a GOP sitting in the President's chair to bomb children of another country that had nothing to do with 9/11? BTW, he also had his girlfriend get an abortion. So you anti-abortionists out there better start looking at your own party for it's hypocrisy in this non-issue of abortion.
Those who brag about their upstanding morality have alot of skeletons in the closet and are probably the least moral among us.

Many Republicans are Christian. Not just Christian but very Christian. People who are very Christian tend to believe than no one can be moral without the bible and you do not have good values if you do not follow the bible. Growing up "very" Christian I know this. This is why they claim to be so "moral."

Lets see. Democrats kill babies. That's all I need to know. I am a Republican and yes, I DO have the corner on morality. Now go hug a tree.

Can anyone tell me why Democrats have the idea that they're super-human and have the corner on secret powers?

No? What? Nobody ever said that? But, I can make stuff up, too, can't I? I mean, it's fun to put words in someone else's mouth and then make fun of them for saying it. I wanna play too!

I can only speak for conservative republicans.

Because we care about the victim more than the perpetrator.
Because we care about the unborn defenseless child.
Because we believe that the power to rule comes from the Creator and goes to each individual American and we only lend it to our government for a limited time.
Because we believe in the nuclear family.
Because we believe all men are created equal.
Because we oppose evil in the world.
Because we believe in self determination.
Because we believe in ending dependency.
Because we believe in God and moral absolutism.

Because we don't believe in letting child molesters off or giving terrorists rights like they were part of a country or army. Oh and we also believe that you should have to work for whatever you have and not be forced to give it away.

Our platform is against abortion, pre-marital sex (liberals make fun of abstinence), and all types of immoral behavior.
Liberals just seem to love and embrace anyone having a baby without a father, drug users, promiscuity, and being gay. If you are/do any of these things AND enter rehab ~ you are their god.
