Sex is like anything else. Done right it's good for the first two, VERY good.
People who are undersexed tend to be irritable people. This is from a build up of hormones. There is actually a medical condition relating to males who get too much or not enough sex.
Mentally good sex can be a huge confidence booster. It can create a feeling of euphoria that lasts long past the sexual encounter. Bad sex can attack the self esteem of a person. Make them feel cheap or used for example.
Lack of sex is almost universally bad for mental well being. It can also lead to rationalization which can create bizzarre taboos on sex. Very much like the Victorian insanity that America is STILL attempting to throw off. The syndrome starts when somebody isn't getting sex. Instead of attempting to understand why and correcting those problems they rationalize that sex is bad. That it should only happen under x conditions. Then they seek to fulfill those conditions, often difficult to obtain conditions so that they can have sex. If they'd just figured out how to get some it would save everybody a whole lot of misery.
Women and men handle sex differently. It is part learned behavior but just as much genetics. Women often require emotional commitment to have sex, men just need a place. So sex without proper emotional support to a woman can actually be stressful.
As for the soul, sex really doesn't touch the soul. Love not sex is nectre to the soul. No matter how good the sex is you really haven't touched the other person if there is no love. Love can be a healing balm or a burning fire that consumes the soul only to be reborn literally like the phoenix.

Well I think that all depends on the situation, the people involved, and their states of mind at the time of the sexual experience. Sex can provide tension relief, is good exercise, and so I think it can be good for the body. As for the mind and soul, well, that's a bit more complicated. Depends on one's perception of the experience...what it means to them- which can be different from person to person.

Well, it's a form of cardio exercise, so it can be good for the body. Orgasm stimulates the release of chemicals in the brain, causing a person to feel good. Feeling desirable would be good for the mind. I think that it takes real love to be good for the soul of a person, though.
