Here's a better question:
When will the world realize that a man is fertile EVERY DAY and make a birth control method that reliably contains a man's sperm rather than a foul chemical cocktail that punishes women daily when we're fertile only 24 hours a cycle?
Your reasoning is totally commercial and completely illogical! Women engage in sexual intercourse for the feeling of being loved, not the pleasure. A great many of you macho nutjobs will probably never manage to bring a woman to feel pleasure without a toy involved.
When men grow up enough to realize that they need to shoulder the responsibility for their fertility, why then I suspect that number of unplanned pregnancies will sharply decline!

I don't think you can account for what all women feel especially since you are not a woman (as far as I know).
Ok...everyone needs to stop blaming the other gender. You can't get pregnant by yourself and unless you get raped then sex is a choice that both a man and woman consent to. People are not stupid... every man and woman knows the risks of having sex.
I believe the main contributor to unwanted pregnancy is the lazyness of not using a condom. The majority of people, especially teens and young adults have the " it can't happen to me " mentallity when it comes to pregnancy.
But I agree with you on the fact that these numbers are way to high. Realistically, it isn't going to get any better as the world is heading in the wrong direction in many different aspects. It's total entropy! If something can go wrong...it will.

Are you kidding?!? Lust, hormones, blue films and sex toys don't lead to pregnancy - ignorance and a lack of personal responsibility of the part of both sexes are the causes!

They are women. They think it is our fault for trusting them with birth control. They cant even take responsibility for their own bodies event thought they think they are entitles to absolute rights.
I think this speaks volumes about how women are less responsible for the family unit then men are. Two thirds of all divorce filings are by women. They do not have the respect for the institution of marriage that men have.
No to mention, if they can not be trusted with birth control, what if anything can a women be trusted with. Perhaps it is better if a wife is a mans property. They are not an adult by the standards they feel they are entitled to sink down to.

Where did you get your statistics from? I believe there are a lot of unplanned pregnancies, but a lot of them are not unwanted.
I'm 6.5 months pregnant, and while I didn't intentionally try to get pregnant, we are extremely excited and happy about the baby. My parents are like, it is about time!

Men like you are the reason I teach my daughters that having UNPROTECTED sex with a man means that you are CONSENTING to become pregnant. It means you are also CONSENTING to be a single parent supporting your child both emotionally and financially into adulthood. Life is a choice.

So what are you saying?
And anyways, it takes two to have a kid. Men are just as guilty as women are, if that's what you're saying.
