I think he commited suicide to a degree. When someone uses drugs in excess, it's just a matter of time before it catches up. No drug user ever said, "Well I knew I would die of it sooner or later". No, they just use dope until it kills them. In A.A. they call it "Incomprehensible self demoralization". Which means you don't see how exactly how your killin' yourself. Imagine putting a gun to your head, pulling the trigger, and the bullet travels very slowly. Drug use to me, is basically suicide in slow motion. But death occurs so sudden that it seems natural. Everyone's scrambling for answeres because it seems like a tragedy. But in reality, "The King", had been committing suicide for years every time he ate those pills like they were mentos. But when I think about how it must have felt to be "The King", so much pressure, so much anxiety. No man can live with himself being elevated to such an extreme status. I bet he wanted to come back down to earth and be a regular guy, just like alot of celebrities report they hate their status. You can't go to a grocery store, you can't go to the park with your kids. What sort of life is that? Who cares about the money? You got paparazzi crawling up your *** every time you dare to step foot out in to the light of day.

Elvis nor Marilyn committed suicide. Elvis got a heartattack, caused by pills that were prescribed to him. And since they were prescribed to him, he though he needed them. As for Marilyn, there are a lot of unanswered questions about her death. About Britney, she'd be fine if he media would just leave her alone. I don't like her at all, but I do feel sorry for her right now. I just think if she would be left alone she'd be back to normal soon.

I think so. One of his bodyguards said that Elvis knew enough about the drugs he was taking that he couldn't have accidentally overdosed (the notion that he died of a heart attack is seriously questioned, and there's little doubt that the drugs he was taking were the cause of his heart failing). And there was a behind-the-scenes book (written by disgruntled former bodyguards) coming out that painted a pretty nasty picture of life with Elvis in his last years. I think Elvis thought it was a good time to check out.

He was deeply religious, but his life sucked and doesn't sound like he could face another boring lonely controlled by other people day in his miserable life. Who wouldn't want an early check out

No. He just died of a heart attack. He was in poor health and overweight at the time, and had been addicted to and abusing prescription drugs. His body just gave up on him.
I don't think it was suicide.

Elvis died from a cerebral hemorrhage while on the toilet. He strained to much and a blood vessel popped in his head. Happens a lot.
