Paint them in colours of the kaleidoscope! That is what the heart is.
The heart is only molting; there are many feathers that haven't fallen, & more to come & fall along the way...

Let them be. They need no painting.
Painted feathered hearts saddens me, same as painted faces.

Molting as the heart grows in depth, every color of experience....heaps of them for one who sees.
Paint them clasped in a hand like a bouquet thrust toward the object of dejection....
Paint them in a heap taller than sky scrapers with the person on top of the mound arms reaching to heaven...with a bird tattooed on their chest....
Paint them woven into a garment thin as silk with a heart shaped hole in the middle showing a portion of the humans chest with a heart shaped universe with a naked bird baby in it. The human clearly presenting the 'veil' to the viewer holding it up and out eyes staring...your choice of expression.....
paint them with eyes and flowers ears and hands swirling like smoke behind a person running from the past.....
or paint them by number ;) lol

Paint them as your heart desires; Not as your heart was, nor the recollections and memories that you've stumbled upon, as you also shouldn't paint them as the ground they've fallen upon

feathers fall all over from sky.....and you just stand at the centre with all the beauiful plants, lake and birds........
I think it is beautiful....don't you think so?
In fact, you are not the first one come out feathers idea...
The korean idol group singers SHINWA do have such MTV...
The whole picture is so beautiful and song also popular too.....
this make them one of the famous MTV among their famous songs.
