I think it's the start of proof that the universe is much much bigger then we currently think, a void like this, it could mean that there are others like it, spread out, heck even all of the known universe could be part of a even bigger universal cluster, and the CMB (Cosmic Microwave Background) could actually fluctuate (it is said to be colder here, why?). I think we have barely touched the tip of space.

I love how they KNOW there are no WIMPS there, but they actually have never seen any dark matter before anyway. go figure...
I think it just proves that we don't know anything.

The fact that one of the voids is bigger proves nothing. It jsut means that billions of years ago, when antimatter and antimater almost wiped each ohter out (but obviously not all matter was destroyed), a lot of the destruction took place there.
You can't just say, "this coudl mean x, which could mean..." in science. You have to observe it. Adn the CMB does not fluctuate much at all. In fact it's more or less universal- it's cooler in some areas by one aprt in 10 000.
We will never see more of the universe than relativity permits us to- currently the observable univere is 78 billion lgiht years across.

I have a theory that matter that is traveling faster then light cannot be seen. This void may have a Dark galaxy within it or may be devoid of all matter due to expansion of the universe.
Dark matter and dark energy are traveling faster then light and untill they slow down we will not be able to see them. A similiar thing is happening in the apex of a black hole. It is a "Black" hole because the center has force that is "faster" then C. And cannot be observed, though the gravitational pull can be.

I agree, this is a hint that there is a lot more universe than we originally thought (but consider that less than a hundred years ago we believed the Milky Way was the entire universe).
So the more we learn, the more we find out we don't know yet.

Space is empty when it doesn't contain matter,which is what a void is,but space is still there.
There is only one universe,anything not attached to it doesn't exist.It is likely that all the hydrogen that originally existed in space is contained in the matter we can see.
So the void is empty space that is progressing toward it's demise.

A void this size is a nice mathematical anomaly. However it really begs the question is it truly empty? We may never get a true answer for this.
