I'm shortsighted and I wear glasses but only for school. I dont wear my glasses anywhere else. I cant see the menus behind the counter at a fast food restaurant eg. Macdonalds. What should I do?

You could plan ahead and check out the restaurant's website to decide what you want.
Or you could let them know that you can't see the posted menu and ask for the large type menu that most fast food places have for these situations.

Wear your glasses, or carry them with you and use them to see the menu. What I do not understand is if you need the glasses to see the menu board, why are you not wearing them. If you do not like to wear glasses, try contact lenses!
I wore glasses for years, and then switched to contact lenses. I had lasik this year and now only need glasses for reading! You need to see what you are doing. Without your glasses or contacts, you will miss too much!

I'm the opposite. I'm farsighted. I can read the menus on the wall behind the counter, but I can't read paper menus without my glasses. I don't wear them unless I need them, so, I keep my glasses with me (pocket or purse) and only put them on when I need to read something.

I vote with ....wear your glasses...I am shortsighted also. And have never found myself at fast food restaurant without them. I always wear my glasses when I drive.
I do hope you wear them when you drive.
